The Himalaya
On Saturday the group went into the Himalayas to "get away" for a few hours. After a few Kashmir strikes and a near published story about our group being spies, we needed to get away.
The Himalayan mountain system is home to the world's highest peaks, the Eight-thousanders, which include Mount Everest and K2. T Himalayan system includes over 100 mountains exceeding 7,200 m (23,622 ft).
It's amazing that just three years ago I was on the other side of these mountains.
While most of the group explored I took a nap in the sun.
Emily used her scarf to occasionally shade the rest of us.
Andrew convinced me to climb down to the stream where I could photograph him climbing big boulders.
