Random Thoughts

I saw a kite flying in the sky today as I walked back from lunch and I thought of Afghanistan.

I think of freedom.
I think of playfulness.
I smile.

And yet I cry.

I think of prison.
I think of tears.
I sigh.

And yet I pray.

I pray for love.
I pray for change.
I hope.


Silently I wait.
Soon.
